M&M’s IN World War 2
Packaged in cardboard tubes, they were
quickly adapted by the military who included
them in American soldier’s C-rations because
they withstood extreme temperatures. In the
hot tropics, these candies were especially
practical.

TWINKIES CHANGE DURING THE WAR
The twinkie recipe changed during the war.
The original creme flavor went from banana
to vanilla because bananas were rationed.
That forced Hostess (the company of twinkles)
to come up with the new filling flavor which
was vanilla.Yummy!! I love Twinkies <3 ^.^
